Gear that I would need for the trip!

Kayak:

rent- $80 for an overnight trip= $560

or buy- $895 w/ paddle- $130- Carolina12 and Werner Tybee FG Im Paddle

Kayak pump- $35

Tow line kit- $50

Sunscreen/ hat/ sunglasses- $10

PFD- $50

Whistle and compass- $5

First Aid kit (Waterproof)- $35

Map- already bought the middle and lower section, but I might buy one more of each map; hopefully I can laminate the second set- $30

Food- plan for seven days- there are some places to stop along the trail for groceries- $150

- Breakfast- evaporated milk, cereal

- Lunch- Jerky, string cheese, trail mix,

- Dinner- Canned meat, beans, spaghetti

- Snack- granola bars, dried fruit, crackers

Water purifier system- Lifesaver bottle 1500UF- $120

Tarp- laying underneath the tent at night- $10

Miscellaneous- groceries, campsites, etc.- $150

I already have a tent, sleeping bag, and clothes that are quick-dry and can be layered.
